MEET THE ARTIST

Tiquan Flowers is an artist from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His journey as a creative began in his early childhood years. Throughout his artistic career, Tiquan has had the opportunity to exhibit in different shows and galleries throughout America including but not limited to, Jeff Hamiltons Street Art Fair in Los Angeles, Miami Art Week, and Bishop Gallery in New York City. His style often incorporates the use of acrylic on canvas and explores themes of cultural diaspora within the urban community. He alternates between personal narrative and social activism while shedding light on the effects of pop culture, media, and current events in society. From his experience of introspection, he seeks to create connections through our differences, how we must acknowledge our history, build relationships throughout our communities and address certain issues within our society.
